Winter holidays in Biberwier

The Marienberg ski resort is ideal for families and just a short walk away. There you’ll find 5 ski lifts, the “Biberland” children’s area and a variety of places to stop for a bite to eat. Of course, there’s also a local ski, cross-country and fun sports equipment hire service. Highlights include the fun sports run and night tobogganing – you can find the latest dates in the events calendar of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. For ski tourers, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the mountains; furthermore, a “touring evening” takes place regularly at the Sunnalm on the Marienberg (see the events calendar for dates). To get to know the other six (!) ski resorts in our region, you can use the free circular bus of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena – free of charge for you with your guest card.

There are plenty of leisure activities to enjoy off the slopes too! Cross-country skiers will find everything they could wish for on our well-developed 131 km network of trails. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, skating or classic cross-country skiing in the ‘Moos’ is a real winter dream! Snowshoe hikersglide gently through the Tyrolean winter landscape.

Whether tobogganingor riding a snow groomer, young and old alike experience thrilling adventures on the snowy slopes. Ice skating and curling also promise plenty of fun during the cold season. Winter holidaymakers who prefer a more leisurely pace can take a leisurely horse-drawn sleigh ridethrough the villages of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena.

Winter is also charming for walkers here, as numerous hiking trails are cleared even in winter. Every week in Biberwier, there is a torchlight and a llama walk (free for our guests with the guest card) – a romantic winter experience with a special atmosphere!
